1. Carrot Crescents Filled with Egg Salad

Ingredients:
1 tube Pillsbury Crescent Recipe Creations Crescent Seamless Dough Sheet
1 egg (whisked with 1 teaspoon of water to make an egg wash)
yellow and red liquid food coloring
1 1/2 cups of your favorite egg or ham salad
1 bunch of fresh dill or parsley

These crafty carrots will keep both the Easter Bunny and your family satisfied come Easter brunch. Start by cutting the dough into six equal strips. Brush with egg wash, and then roll into a log. Wrap the logs around a cream horn mold to give them their carrot shape. Brush each carrot with the orange food coloring mixture, and then bake for six to eight minutes until golden brown. When cool, stuff with egg or ham salad and add a piece of dill or parsley for decorative effect.

1 egg, whisked with 1 teaspoon of water for egg wash
4 tablespoons of filling (ex: lemon curd, chocolate hazelnut spread, jam, banana pie filling)
colored sanding sugars

Start by unrolling the dough and cut out eight eggs using an egg-shaped cookie cutter. Spread filling on four of the eggs, and then brush the edges with egg wash. Ingredients:
1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury® Crescent Recipe Creations® seamless dough sheet
1/3 cup plain hummus
1 medium English (seedless) cucumber, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons chopped red bell pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill weed

3 cups walnut, finely chopped
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Glaze:
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup honey
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons lemon juice

Some people eat baklava at Christmas, but the Greek Orthodox prefer to eat it at Easter. And who are we to argue with tradition when it comes to something this tasty? Start by unrolling the dough and pressing into a 9″x 13″ baking dish, folding edges up 1/2″ to form a crust. Mix together walnuts, sugar, and cinnamon, and spread evenly over the crust. Unroll the second can of dough and press on top. Score the dough with a sharp knife five times lengthwise and seven times diagonally to make 28 diamond pieces. Combine the glaze ingredients and bring to a boil. Spread this over the dough and then bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Take out of the oven and spread the remaining glaze on top.

 

5. Easter Egg Veggie Pizza

a dusting of flour

8 ounce tub of vegetable cream cheese
veggies of your choice, finely chopped
optional, 2 tablespoon heavy cream or egg wash (egg mixed with a bit of water)

1/3 cup raisins
1/4 teaspoon grated lemon peel, if desired
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 to 2 teaspoons milk

2 8oz. packages Cream Cheese

1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 stick or 1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp ground Cinnamon (more or less to taste)

Who says you need to be traditionally at Easter? It’s a time of rejoicing and splurging, since you might have given up sweets for Lent. Indulge your sweet tooth with this Sopapilla Cheesecake. Start by greasing and lining a 9″x 13″ pan with one package of dough. Mix the cream cheese, one cup of sugar, and vanilla in a bowl, and spread over the dough.
