Almost every little girl, or boy, has jumped rope with their friends growing up. You can probably remember the first time you learned how to do it if you think about it. If you have neighbors downstairs who don’t like the noise, head out to the hall or outside the building. To add to the enjoyment, pick up one of those books filled with jump rope rhymes and have a ball.
3. Balloon Ball
Numerous methods exist for being able to play with balloons inside of your home. Try to see how long you can keep the balloon up in the air before it hits the ground. You can use your feet, hands, mouth and more for this game. Mix it up and have a blast.
4. Crab, Wheelbarrow or Bear Races
For this particular activity, you better be prepared for an amazing workout. Since you have to contort your body into some funny positions, your muscles are going to feel the burn.

Who doesn’t remember a good old-fashioned game of follow the leader? We have all probably participated in this game when we were younger. If you want to add a little something to the workout, incorporate stretches, jumping, squatting and stomping as part of the movements.

It doesn’t get any simpler than this. Turn on some music and start shaking your groove thing around. You will be amazed at how much of a workout this really is.
9. Freeze Dance
Now that you have your music going, you can play this game as well. Every time the music stops playing, everyone has to freeze in whatever pose they were in. Hold still until the music starts back up and you can start dancing like crazy all over again.
10. Scavenger Hunt
For this game, write down a bunch of clues about where to look and hide them around your home. Kids will race to find the clues and see what they can find at the end of the game. All you need is something small for them to locate as a reward.
11. Jumping Jacks
Even though this might seem like one of the simplest tasks to participate in, it isn’t as easy as you might think. It requires a good amount of coordination to be able to do these properly. Not only do they improve your coordination skills, but they also get your heart going. If your little ones are having a hard time going to bed, have them do a few jumping jacks to get them all tuckered out.

Do you remember the old Raffi song? If not, it tells you to shake all of your sillies out. Doing this activity long enough will end up having you laughing your heads off watching everyone shake their sillies right out of their bodies.

Do you ever get bubble wrap in the mail? Why not use it for an exciting game? Throw it down on the floor, and let the kids go wild jumping on it until everything is all popped.

For this activity, you actually get to have the kids work to clean things up that got messy from them playing around. Set a timer or turn on a song and see who is able to get the room straightened up the quickest. You will be surprised how quickly kids move to be the winner.

Sure, we have all heard of tag, but how about tickle tag? Put your own twist on this timeless game by chasing the kiddos around the home. When you catch up with them, you get to tickle them silly. Who doesn’t love the sound of laughter in the home?
16. Temper Tantrum
Of course, no parent wants to deal with their child having a temper tantrum and throwing a fit just for the heck of it. But, why not make a game out of it instead? Have fun with it. Throw yourself down on the floor. Throw your arms, feet and body around. Scream, stomp and just go nuts. It feels good to get out some of your hostility, plus it works great to expel energy.

18. Sock Skating
For those who have hardwood floors in their home, this is one of the best activities you can do as a family. Put your socks on and skate around the area. See how many different fancy moves you can do. Spin, do hockey stops and see which one of you is able to slide the farthest. You will be amazed at how much fun this activity is for the kids. Make sure you take the time to move all of the furniture out of the way to prevent someone from getting hurt on accident. Also, be on the lookout for any splinters along the way.
19. Push Mom and Dad Over
You are probably thinking what the heck does that mean. Honestly, it is as simple as it sounds. Plant your feet firmly on the ground and let the kids see if they are able to move you from your position. If you end up moving your feet at all, that means they have won. 20. Popcorn Pushups
For this activity, you are going to need a small bowl of popcorn. Place it on the floor. Get into a pushup position by the popcorn. As you lower yourself down, see if you can stick your tongue out and nab a piece of popcorn on your way up. Every time you go down, you should be able to grab a piece of popcorn. Get active and enjoy a healthy snack at the same time.
